Biography

Dr. Zhu is a professor at Department of Pathophysiology, School of Basic Medicine, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. She is member of Council on Respiratory Physiology of China Physiology Society, member of Council on Hypoxia and Respiratory Pathophysiology of China Pathophysiology Society and secretary-general of Wuhan Pathophysiology Society. Dr. Zhu has been engaged in the study of pathogenesis of respiratory diseases, particularly calcium sig-naling in pulmonary hypertension and vascular endothelial injury. She has received successive grants from National Natural Science Foundation of China (including Out-standing Youth Project). She has the publications in international journals including Circulation, Arterioscler Thromb Vasc Biol, Hypertension, Journal of Cell Science, and American Journal of Physiology.
