Clinical Focus:
Research Focus/Interests: 1. Scientific research : We have studied the function of protein kinases, such as TOPK & BCKDK, in cancer cell proliferation, drug resistance, and metastasis. We have tried utilizing selective apoptosis inducer, Apoptin, for cancer gene therapy and carried out the research on the mechanism of it, such as screening the specific kinase of it. We are also interested with the kinases related signal pathways in UV-induces inflammation and screened some compounds isolated from Chinese medicine for the treatment.
2. Educational research: As a teacher, I devoted myself to improve the quality of teaching, am interested with the research on the utilization of modern education principle, methods and technologies in teaching. I have worked as a trainer of faculty development center of HUST, shared my experiences on teaching and provided support to new teachers at the beginning of their career.
