Clinical Focus:

Research Focus/Interests: Epigenetic regulation plays vital role in human tissue development, aging and tumorigenesis. Among the epigenetic regulators, we are focusing on the functional role of histone H3K4 methyltransferase (MLL complex) in normal tissue development and in tumorogenesis.

2018-present   Principle Investigator, School of Basic Medicine, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. How AMPK kinase signal pathway regulates genomic stability; How Mll complexes participates in maintaining genomics stability and therefore regulates tumorogenesis.

2016-2018   Research Associate, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics, University of Alabama at Birmingham. Studies of roles of Set1/Mll Complexes in Lymphomagenesis and Leukemogenesis.

2012-2016   Postdoctoral fellow, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics, University of Alabama at Birmingham. Studies of the physiological roles of the H3K4 methyltransferases as well as their associated factors in gene regulation involved in the maintenance and differentiation of stem cells.
