Biography

Prof. Xu earned her M.D. from Tongji Medical University, Wuhan, China in 1999, and Ph. D. from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2010. She completed a three-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Nanomedicine in Houston Methodist Institute. She has first-authored a number of scientific research publications in journals like Nature biotechnology, ACS Nano and Small. She has undertaken several research projects supported by National Natural Science Funds, Outstanding Youth Project of Hubei Natural Science Foundation and others. Dr. Xu’s research interests focus on onco- and clinical pharmacology.
