Biography

Dr. Xi is the Teaching Supervisor of the Department of Physiology titled “Huazhong Distinguished Scholars”, and the Course Director of the Physiology Online Course of HUST. Her research focused on both the stem cell-derived-cardiomyocytes and the teaching of physiology, which were supported by the NSFC, the NSF of Hubei Province, the Education Department of Hubei Province, and HUST, respectively. She has published several textbooks as editor-in-chief or subeditor, and a series of peer-reviewed research articles. She was awarded the first prize of the Teaching Quality Excellence Award, the first prize of the Teaching Achievement Award, and the first prize of the Teaching Competition of HUST.
