Biography

Lei Pei, PhD, Associate Professor, M.S./Ph.D. Supervisor, Tongji Medical College (Department of Neurobiology), Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Member of the Chinese Society of Neuroscience, Member of the Youth Committee of the Hubei Neuroscience Society, Standing Committee Member of the Hubei Pathophysiology Society. He was a visiting scholar at the Institute of Neuroscience, Royal Netherlands Academy of Sciences from 2009 to 2010. During 2016 to 2017, he was seconded to the Biotechnology Development Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology. From 2019 to 2021, he was a senior visiting scholar at the Washington University. His main research interests are the pathogenesis of neurological diseases such as pain, ischemic stroke, and mechanisms of sensory-emotional neural circuits. He is currently serving as a reviewer for many international journals such as Aging Research Reviews.
