Research Focus/Interests: 1.Platelet activation and negative regulation. 2.Anti-platelet nature products(such as herbs) and the underlying mechanism. 3.The role of platelet in some related disease, such as myocardial ischemia, acute kidney injury, atherosclerosis and cancer.

Biography

Dr. Ming is a Professor of Pharmacology in Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He is a member of International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), Chines Phar-macology Society and Chinese Physiology Society. Dr. Ming received his PhD from the Department of Pharmacology at HUST. He then performed post-doctoral studies in Prof. Newman laboratory at Blood Research Institute, Blood Center of Wisconsin, USA, where he was awarded a distinction postdoctoral fellow. His work has been published in numerous journals, including Blood, Thrombosis Research, Scientific Reports, Molecular Nutrition & food Research, Mol Oncol, Cell Death & Disease, and is funded by the NSFC.
