Clinical Focus:

Research Focus/Interests: We have a long-standing interest on the membrane-bound organelles. We have been investigating the interactions between different organelles, which is a hot topic in the field of cell biology and is currently poorly understood. Using cutting-edge technologies including super-resolution imaging, EM tomography and in vitro reconstitution assays, we seek to answer two fundamental questions: How are the inter-organelle interactions formed? What are the cellular functions of these inter-organelle interactions?
