Research Focus/Interests: The research in my laboratory focuses on 1) how B cell development and differentiation are regulated during physiological aging, chronic infection and cancers; 2) the interaction between microbiota and immune system.

Biography

After completing PhD training in Pasteur Institute, Dr. HAO worked on age-related B cell homeostasis as a post-doc at University of Pennsylvania (USA). Then she became attracted by the challenge of research in B cell memory. So, she joined the lab of Dr. Reynaud and Prof. Weill in Necker Institute (INSERM, Université Paris 5, France). In 2015, she built up her own team at Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
