Research Focus/Interests: 1. cellular and molecular mechanisms of pulmonary vascular remodeling (PVR) in hypoxic pulmonary hypertension (HPH) 2. molecular and diagnostic pathology of lymphoma.

Biography

Professor Ao has been engaged in pathological diagnosis, teaching and scientific research since he graduated from Tongji Medical College, HUST in 2001. He has accumulated rich experience in the pathological diagnosis of hematopoietic and lymphoid lesion, bone and soft tissue tumors, female reproductive system and breast tumors, chest tumors, head and neck tumors, and the application of immunohistochemistry in pathological diagnosis of tumors, especially in the pathological diagnosis of lymphoma. He presided over 3 research projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, and published more than 50 papers as the first or correspondent authors, including 12 papers indexed by SCI.
