2024 HUST Global Summer School
The 2nd Basic Medicine Growth Partner Summer School under the theme of "Explore Metabolic Pathways and Reveal Cell Fate"
As part and parcel of 2024 HUST Global Summer School, the Basic Discipline Growth Partner Summer School is offered by seven top-notch student training plan 2.0 bases in basic disciplines. As one of seven organizers, School of Basic Medicine, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, will hold its second Basic Medicine Growth Partner Summer School under the theme of "Explore Metabolic Pathways and Reveal Cell Fate" and provide an academically rigorous experience for all learners.
Program Introduction
From August 26 to August 30, 2024, School of Basic Medicine invites 6 renowned professors from Yale University, Columbia University, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Heidelberg University, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and other prestigious universities in China and beyond to give online and on-campus lectures centering on Cell Metabolism. Students can explore frontier knowledge of chosen subjects, identify their academic interests and enhance their academic competence through a variety of well-crafted courses, lab tour, enterprise visit and presentations. Students will be presented with a certificate if they finish learning all the lectures. Upon completion, all participants are expected to be equipped with a broader global vision and better international competence.

Location: PBL building of Tongji Medical College, Building No.2
Format: online and on campus (HUST students are encouraged to attend all lectures offline while other students can only attend online.)
Fee: free of charge
Targeted Students: Students from Top-Notch Student Training Plan 2.0 Bases in Basic Medicine, as well as students worldwide who are interested in basic medical research
