On October 8, 2021, Department of Histology and Embryology held its first badminton match in the stadium of Tongji Medical College as a response to Fitness for All (2021-2025) program launched by the State Council in early August.

The badminton match is divided into Men's and Women's Singles, Men's and Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Each match consists of three games of 11 points, which means that the side winning two games first is the winner of the match. In Doubles, participants choose their team members by lot or depending on their wishes. As for Singles, all participants are free to enter. After a fierce competition, some teachers stand out from all competitors. He LI and Xingjiang YU win the Men's Doubles while Hui BING and Xin LONG win the Women's Doubles. As for the Mixed Doubles, Jiong HU and Lin ZHOU win the match. Much to all's surprise, two senior teachers, He LI and Honglian LI, are the reigning champion of the most physically demanding Men's and Women's Singles. Those who don't get a metal also give wonderful performance. This badminton match makes all participants realize how important doing exercise is.
